Cavotec implements Megawatt Charging System for industrial EVs
Cavotec has applied the Megawatt Charging System (MCS), a DC charging commonplace that gives as much as 3 MW of energy from a single connector.
MCS, which was formally launched in October on the Bauma building equipment commerce truthful, was designed to be used with heavy-duty autos in a wide range of sectors, together with agriculture, building, and mining, and with e-vessels equivalent to ferries.
“MCS allows the protected and fast connection of industrial quality autos and ships to electrical energy in a dependable, ergonomic unit. It considerably reduces typical charging occasions, thereby minimizing downtime,” says Jörn Bullert, VP, Product Administration at Cavotec.
